Born to parents ( enter names here ), both were unaware of their sons mutant abilities until he started showing the powers at the age of five. The first instance was what caused a fire in their small apartment, which led to the family moving into their permanent home outside the city. Unfortunately, due to both his mother and father being mundane humans he was unable to learn or train his powers, which led to problems the older Kane got.
Kane grew up with little experience if other mutants, and had to manage his powers by his own means.
Shortly before graduating high school, his mother passed from an illness Kane believed to have been caused by birthing a mutant. His father soon passed after graduating college leaving him alone.
Without parents or any family to speak of, Kane lived along until his powers created enough problems to get him evicted from every apartment he could get.
Finding himself homeless and living inside the maintenance shed under a bridge on the outskirts of the City, he would eventually come to meet Stephen Strange during one unfortunate incident, unable to control his powers and being subdued by the sorcerer.
Eventually, Kane was invited to live and train at the Sanctum. In the following months, he would meet Wade Wilson, another mutant and lost soul, which he would form a quick bond.
Growing in strength and power, and forming more bonds with new friends along the way, Kane was a far cry from the person he had been merely a year before.
Creating a rift in time by pure accident, ended up bringing his son- Micheal, from another time dimension where he had died. It didn't take long before he adopted his child from another verse.
Not long after did he meet a woman, Selena Marcos, and the two formed a strange bond. Through some. . . unusual means, they find out she and her sister Emilia are also Kane's children from another dimension- where he is also dead.
IMPORTANT:
As of now (2/21) character is in soft revamp. Previous storylines are frozen and will not change, but will have some impact on future storylines. All characters involved in previous storylines are single versed only and are not open to expand with new writers.
Kane is multiversed only through plotting and planning.
After an incident during a routine mission, Kane ended up looking control of his powers during a crucial moment, resulting in the death of two civilians.
Tony Stark, having been pressured by the previous Sokovia accords, accused Stephen Strange of going against everything they had previously done through allowing an untrained and dangerous superhuman to work with them. The argument caused a great rift between the two but Stephen assured Kane he would train him further and that there was no cause for concern.
Less than two days after the incident, operatives working under the S.R.A. (Super-Human Registration Act) had been given the location of the Kane, who was then arrested and outfitted with an inhibitor collar before being transported forcefully to the Ice Box.
Three years in the mutant prison up north and Kane had turned into something else. The place had changed him for the worse and ruined him, left him scared from a horrible breakdown and without vision in one eye. But fate allowed him and a small handful of others to escape the facility, and the mutant headed straight for New York to incite his revenge. Gone was the gentle, oft nervous man, now replaced with a bloodthirsty half-feral rogue.
He gave himself the name Tempest in place of no longer going by Kane.

• Writer and character are 21+. Minors (characters and writers) may interact, however, there will not be any shipping or 18+ (sexual, suggestive, otherwise) roleplay or interactions. Nor will they be tolerated.
• All serious storylines or developments will be plotted beforehand. Banter can turn into sls but I would prefer things be talked out first.
• Ships will be based solely on character chemistry and writer relationship. I will likely not ship if I don't know you as a writer, and if our characters have hardly interacted or built a history together.
And, again, will not ship with minors and Kane will not interact romantically with anyone under 25.
• I do enjoy writing with other characters with the same faceclaim, and crossovers are always welcome! There will never be an issue, but if someone makes it an issue, I won't tolerate that.
